Smithfield, NC — The Triangle East Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Lauren Prince as its new Office and Events Manager, a key position supporting the Chamber’s mission to promote economic vitality and business growth across Johnston County and the surrounding region.
Prince joins the Chamber with a strong background in operations and healthcare, paired with a long-standing passion for community engagement and creative leadership. In her new role, she will oversee day-to-day office operations and lead the planning and execution of Chamber events—ensuring a high standard of service, professionalism, and member experience.
"Lauren brings a unique combination of organizational excellence, creativity, and people-first leadership to our team," said Maureen McGuinness, President & CEO of the Triangle East Chamber. "Her ability to connect with people and manage complex logistics makes her a valuable asset as we continue to expand programming and deepen our impact in the region."
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Prince is also a published author and illustrator of five children’s books. Based in North Carolina, her storytelling is inspired by real-life experiences with her young daughters and fueled by her commitment to nurturing imagination and literacy in early childhood.
Outside of work, Prince enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, frequently visiting the coast, and supporting a household that proudly cheers for LSU, UNC, and the Atlanta Braves.
The Chamber looks forward to the continued growth of its programming under Prince’s leadership and the valuable contributions she will bring to members and partners throughout the Triangle East region.
