Flowers Plantation to Host First-Ever Flowers Business Expo on October 22

FLOWERS, NC – October 9, 2026 – Flowers Plantation is excited to announce its first-ever Flowers Business Expo, taking place Thursday, October 22, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Concert Park, located in the Harris Teeter shopping complex at Flowers Crossroads.

This exciting new community event will bring together more than 40 local brick-and-mortar businesses, including retail shops, restaurants, salons, healthcare providers, professional services, specialty stores, and other businesses that call Flowers home.

As Flowers continues to grow, so does the variety of businesses and services available throughout the community. The Flowers Business Expo was created to showcase these businesses, introduce residents and visitors to the people behind them, and encourage everyone to discover the convenience of shopping, dining, and supporting businesses located right here in Flowers.

"Many residents may visit the same grocery store or restaurant each week without realizing just how many other businesses and services are available right here in Flowers," said Ryan Jordan, Director of Community Relations for Flowers Plantation. "We wanted to create an opportunity for our local businesses to come together in one location, meet the community, and showcase everything they have to offer. During the three-hour event, attendees will have the opportunity to visit participating business booths, meet owners and representatives, learn about products and services, and enjoy samples, promotional items, coupons, giveaways, and other special offerings provided by participating businesses.

Unlike a traditional vendor market, the Flowers Business Expo will focus specifically on established businesses with physical locations throughout Flowers Plantation and its commercial districts. The goal is to highlight the businesses that serve the community year-round and help residents become more familiar with the many options available close to home.

With continued residential and commercial growth, Flowers has become home to an expanding selection of shopping, dining, wellness, and professional services. The Business Expo provides an opportunity for both longtime residents and those new to the area to explore these offerings while building stronger connections with the local business community.

The event is free and open to the public, and residents of Flowers, neighboring communities, and visitors throughout Johnston County are encouraged to attend.
