Johnston/Wake Transportation Public Symposium

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), building on the work completed through the Southwest Area Study and Northeast Area Study, has initiated the Southeast Area Study which includes all or part of eleven municipalities and portions of Wake and Johnston counties. As shown on the map below, the Towns of Selma and Smithfield are included in the study area. The Southeast Area Study will update CAMPO’s overall Comprehensive Transportation Plan and will produce project priorities to be included in the next Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
