Register of Deeds Annual Shred Event a Success
Craig Olive, Johnston County Register of Deeds, and several volunteers spent their Saturday assisting the citizens of Johnston County at the annual Shred Event. Citizens from across the county brought boxes and bags filled with sensitive and personal information to be shredded, protecting these citizens from the potential threat of identity fraud. This annual event marks the 16th year of hosting it. 10,500 lbs. of paper were shredded at this event. The 2025 event was held at a new location,
